Breakfast was included in
our Lilianfels package thus we were down around 8:30 and dined on a traditional
breakfast buffet, a very good buffet.

Some walked to the scenic overlook, Diane and Chris actually climbed out onto the first of the Three Sisters. Sheila and I visited Scenic World where we rode a cable car across the canyon to the downhill train, a very steep track I might add and traipsed through the local “art decorated” rain forest. We then took a gondola lift back up to the ridgeline and the hotel.
Once in Sydney we checked
in to The Four Seasons and our “Opera House” view rooms. For some the shopping
activities began on arrival and for the four guys the last night in town beer
crawl began. Our beer stops included the The Hero of Waterloo Bar, the Harbourview Hotel Bar and finally the Fortune of War Pub. By 6 PM we were all together for our Sydney closeout
dinner, a repeat performance at Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant.
It was now time to bid
Sydney good-bye and prepare for Wednesday’s departure to New Zealand.
