Day 1: Travel Day Has Arrived

Well today is the day we begin our trip to Australia.

Yesterday Pat and Sheila were checking our packing list and as someone famous once said, "checking it twice". One of us, and I won't name which one, has packed, unpacked and repacked his/her nifty new bags at least three times. We will be leaving Kitty Hawk about 10 this morning. Carrie will drive us to Norfolk where Shannon will join us for lunch before the journey begins.


For anyone keeping count, so far, 50% of the pictures have had people in them and there have been no nature pics. So to quote a recent commercial series, "Here we go!"
