Day 3: Somewhere over the Pacific

Yesterday was a L_O_N_G day; after leaving the hotel we spent all afternoon at the LA airport waiting for our flight. It did give us plenty of time for calls, emails, charging batteries, downloading ebooks and just watching people.

This morning as our Day #3 begins we're somewhere over the Pacific about half way to Sydney on the B777 pictured to the right (you're probably wondering just how I got this shot). As a note for those who say I don't include pictures of people, if you look closely you can see many of the 250+ people looking from the windows on the right side of the plane.

By this time tomorrow we might actually have something interesting to post.

  1. people in the window af a plane DO NOT count!! I likes the pictures of bothe of you at the airport though. Saw that your plane landed (you know how I am about people in planes, always checking the flight to ensure safety). Now it will actually become exciting!

  2. Good grief Shan...I thought you were only paranoid on your own flights. If anyone else wants to view the hardship that parents endured in their business class seats, I recommend this youtube clip of someone boarding their flight last year (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtI8DIWtem8). Roughing it all the way. Have fun Down Under!!
